Great location, friendly staff, nice touch of a card on arrive, good facilities, excellent value for money. The manager has definitely got it right. This is one of the best hotel I have stayed in and for the price of was excellent. one that will stay in my mind for every stay in Liverpool.
The room was a little rough around the edges in places due to cleanliness but it was still an 8/10 overall for cleanliness.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Resident Liverpool. The hotel was lovely, clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was just as we hoped. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like. We were really happy with everything!

the layout of the room was very efficient. i wouldn't want to stay there more than a night or two because there was only one chair, but it was perfect for our one-night stay. bathroom was roomy. heater/a/c was adjustable. window opened enough to get some fresh air. staff helpful with suggesting places to eat and visit. it was a simple/easy check-in. we left out bags for several hours before check-in and when we finally arrived back at the hotel, they had kindly already moved our bags to the room.
could not read the labels on the shampoo/conditioner/soap containers because it was a metal label engraved with the words. the lighting in the bathroom was not condusive to that type of setup and the font was so small that i had to go back out and get my glasses and even that didn't help much. one of the labels in our shower was upside down ;(

This was my second time staying at The Resident, coming back given how good the hotel was the first time! The location of the property is so close to everything in the city centre making it a great place to stay. The staff are also a testament to the hotel, very friendly and always happy to help! Will always choose to stay here when visiting Liverpool!
