It wasn't the largest room but very comfortable for one person. They had lovely products in the bathroom and very friendly staff.

I have made The Resident Liverpool my go-to hotel for all my business trips to Liverpool, as it fully meets my requirements. The staff stand out for their professionalism, helpfulness and warm welcome. The rooms are both elegant and functional, always impeccably clean and offering a comfortable setting that is perfectly suited to a working stay.
I also appreciate the ease of access and the strategic location of the establishment, close to the station and the city centre, which makes my business trips easier. The consistent quality of the services makes this hotel a safe and reliable choice for each of my stays in Liverpool.
To be honest, I don't have much to criticise.

Wonderful
The staff are lovely and made checking in/out super fast and easy. The room was comfy with a great layout and had everything I needed. I enjoyed exploring the neighborhood as well — there are lots of great restaurants and shops. Thank you for the hospitality!
I thought it was weird that the bed had no fitted sheet. The mattress pads wouldn't lay flat because of it, and I had to cover them with the top sheet instead of actually using the sheet like you normally would. I guess it's because the "queen" bed was just 2 twin beds pushed together (which doesn't really make sense because you can only sleep on one side anyway — because of the bumps in the middle where the mattresses meet — so what's the point?)

It seemed extraordinary value for a hotel in the heart of the city. I will stay there in future and recommend it to friends and family.

Wonderful
Comfortable bed, plenty of power sockets, efficient shower, useful kitchenette. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Amazing location
Although I was aware the room was classified as small, and consequently reduced, I didn't realise quite how small.

It was not what was expected of a highly rank place. Not a hotel, more of a residence.
