Location was brilliant and staff friendly. Hotel was modern and clean.
We booked a ‘small double’ on booking.com, the photos were not true to scale - the room was so small

Good
Central location, clean, welcoming, well decorated
I was woken in the night despite being on top floor by night club music several times due to its central city location (which is a plus) but proximity to nightclub area (not such a plus). Had twin beds - think need replacing as wasn’t very stable and creaked/rocked every time turned over.

My experience of the weekend was that the hotel was in the centre of every location for me , and although I was woken up due to it being near an open air venue. The staff arranged to move me to another room which was better for me and I had a better night sleep. So thank you to the staff for all their kindness in moving me to another room . I will be staying again when I come to Liverpool as I come to see my Son who lives there .
Regards Tracey Matthews.

Gorgeous building, excellent location and great, friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to help. The complimentary drinks and nibbles between 6 and 7pm was a lovely touch that really made a great stay extra special. Would highly recommend The Resident to anyone looking for a city centre hotel!
Nothing, loved it all.

Great location, reasonably-priced, clean, friendly and helpful staff.
Had a few technical issues, with the remote control and the fridge, which the staff worked quickly to address with good humour and efficiency. The shower basin was quite damaged also.

Pleasant
The location is great. Everything in walking distance.
I had the superior room. The rooms are older and come across as a bit dirty with the grey carpet and scratches on the walls etc. There was only 1 chair as a sitting area which was weird cause there was room for 2 seats and a small table. The bathroom is old and the shower is in a bath. Also you can see mold in the bathroom grout. You can't have fresh air cause the windows don't open. But that's maybe better cause you do hear music all night cause of the location. Also the bed was horrible. It was not 1 big bed but 2 small ones pushed together. You could not sleep in the middle cause you would fall in the gap.
