Lovely rooms, tastefully decorated, great location. All areas were spotlessly clean. Very helpful reception staff who upgraded us to larger rooms on check-in for a more comfortable stay. The rooms were very soundproofed, so there was no street noise even in such a central location. The gentleman on the reception in the evening made us complimentary tea/coffee in the lounge even though he was very busy with other customers, he was very kind, professional and polite. It was a special touch at the end of a stressful day, which to us set this hotel apart from any other.
The room was still too warm for us even with the air conditioning on the coolest setting. It would have been really great if there had been a desk fan in the room to use in addition to the air-con. The shower was over the bath (Rm 224), but the bath was really deep, so as a short person it was a struggle to step out safely once you were wet. It would benefit from a handle on the wall to grab as you're climbing out.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Good rooms. Good touch to have the fridge, microwave etc in the room.
Need new/different pillows. They were quite flat, and just not very comfortable, but ok for a 2 night stay. A bit noisy at night on surrounding streets around the hotel. But our stay was over the weekend so to be expected.
