Stayed to visit the British Science Fair and the theatre. The location of The Resident could not be better. Easy access to ropewalks, restaurants, pubs, shops and car park meant we could pack our stay with lots of activities. The staff were lovely; helpful, friendly and efficient. Even though we didn't access the nightlife, we could have if we'd had more energy! Lots of clubs and live music venues nearby, but no sound pollution in our comfortable rooms. Will definitely be coming back here.

Beautifully converted boutique hotel with fabulous staff and in a fantastic area for resteraunts and nightlife. I tend to stay during the week when it’s quieter and more affordable. Weekends get a little noisy around that part of town. But if you’re travelling to Liverpool for work sunday-Thursday this is super value for the level of comfort and service. I also discovered that a free drink is served in the Lounge on these days between 6-7!

The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Liverpool. On arrival we were greeted warmly and friendly. The front desk staff especially Christian went above and beyond to help us. I would definitely stay at the Resident Hotel again
